Internet and Media Services
at Pennsic War

We're the only on-site merchant establishment at Cooper's Lake campground to offer high speed internet access and a full range of printing/media services. And we also charge batteries!

Battery Charging Facilities

You'll need to bring the charger for your device. We do have a few 'car' charger plugs available. We normally tag your charger, but it always a good idea to put some kind of personal ID on your item as a backup.

You can drop items off any time during the day, but you must pick it up before closing time. We can not guarantee the safety of items left overnight.

Q: Can you recharge cell/camera/video batteries?

A: Yes. For a nominal fee we will recharge small electronic devices.  You must bring your own charger.  We _can_ charge devices on a 12 volt "cigarette lighter" type plug.  Larger batteries such as deep cycle batteries and multi-use packs are too large for us to handle.

Q: Can you recharge larger Deep Cycle batteries?

A: We cannot handle any battery weighing over 2 lbs or requiring over 1 amp (100 watts). Deep Cycle batteries, such as those used for CPAP machines and scooters, require more space and power than we have available. If your needs are related to medical or emergency care, please contact Pennsic Disability Services to see what they can do for you.

Q: What about other batteries?

A: We can handle SOME other types of batteries that fall within this criteria:

  • You must have your own charger
  • The charger cannot draw more than 100 Watts or 1.0 Amps @ 120v
  • The charger + battery(ies) cannot weigh more than 2 lbs (size of a tissue box)
  • No devices may be left overnight at our facility.
  • AA chargers OK - you may also swap batteries one time for no
       additional fee
  • Cordless drill batteries OK
  • We may accept certain "Multi Use" packs such as the Black & Decker "Electromate"   however because of its size we will charge a higher fee

  •   We cannot accept any of the following:

  • lead acid batteries of any size or style
  • Car/deep cycle batteries or any battery that is not totally sealed
       * Golf carts, personal carts
  • Chargers/devices requiring over 200W regardless of purpose
  • Homemade devices or anythng not UL approved

    Q: Do you rent/sell batteries?

A: No.  The Cooper's Store will have disposables for sale.
  •
